when i got my car it was stock last summer. the a4 in it was gonna need a rebuild. so i got another a4 off of ls1 tech, did all the normal bolt ons, long tubes, ls6 intake, o/r y with dual cut outs, tci 3600 converter, removed egr, smog and all the bs, then 3 weeks later sitting on 93 in traffic i hit the gas to move and it's like i was in N. let it cool down and i could drive again, then like i was in N again. so i said fuck it and put it on a trailer and parked it at my house till now, i got the itch for it again and now have a performabuilt level 2 on it's way. after that is in with a cooler that i didn't do before, and install my air/fuel guage and trans temp guage the car is going to slowhawk for a tune which i never did after my converter install or anything i removed from the car. so now i can maybe make it to a meet again, 1st and last one i was at was the red robin in millbury and then the cruise to the dunks in worcester. Hope to see you all soon

ya i know it was my own fault for not putting in a cooler, i knew better. but the fucking car ripped so with a real a4 in it and a tune for what i have done to the car it should be a whole new monster for me to enjoy

Did you cut out behind the cooler too so the air can pass through it? Also going to put your IAT through the roof. I'm not trying to be an ass but that isn't a very good spot for it. That is gonna hurt the way the car runs and may cause tuning issues with the MAF and IAT sensor, you are talking 200 something degree air coming in the intake which may make the car run lean and it is going to choke off part of the air flow into the airbox if it sticks out as far as it looks

IT'S ALIVE...... on the road and running, the trans cooler is infront of the radiator still. and attached to it. runs strong and converter didn't get cooked by the old tranny, so that's a plus. now all i need is some good 02's and i'm good to go, the wide band will take some getting used to seeing jump around all the time
