Just got done putting some new vinyl decals on the car.

Talk about a world of difference. I can't believe how much this improved the look of the back of the car. The LT1 badge has been there for a while, I got that off eBay. The bird in the filler panel and the PONTIAC inserts I got from Brent Franker, you can see all his decals HERE (http://www.bfranker.badz28.com/vinyl/vinyl.htm). Those decals are in silver, which has some metal flake in it. The bird is easy to apply, since it has a backing to apply it with. The PONTIAC inserts are pretty difficult to apply, if you get those read the instructions carefully and take your time. The bird also came with a "Formula" badge to go above the bird, but I didn't apply that since I already have a Formula badge on the bumper. For $20 for both of those you can't beat it, they look great. Now if I can just get an antenna base the car will be looking halfway decent.

same exact ones I had on my 94. (same color car, and decals). just be mindful of the mold issues that can occur with the type of vinyl they use.

after about 2.5-3yrs mine started to get darker and discolored. may have just been a bad batch, but they were still on the car when I sold it and all in one piece.

did you get the nose bird fill in too?

No, not going to do anything with the nose until it gets painted.

For what it's worth Brent Franker says the vinyl he uses is of very high quality and should last 7-10 years. Even if it doesn't, for that price I would just get new ones if these fade or discolor.

I've got similar 3M ones (Except Camaro & Z-28) and they've held up fine for ~10 yrs now... And mine are the reflective yellow, and have not faded.

I do remember the rear inset ones being a real pain too.

Looking good!!!

mine wasn't too bad, as long as you soap it up good (and yes q-tips work great) things should work in just fine...
