The b&m is notorious for hurting trannys. The good kit is made by transgo

Can his car even be tuned for it since it's a 93?

Josh it can be... Must be a few blank chips and eprom thingy.. each chip 1 time burn from what i read

yea, I been doing research... Dang it lol... Its all good... Im doing the TB Bypass day I get home and then when I come back to DC ill be looking for a shift kit...only gonna be home for 4 days... i cant wait to spend lots of $$... Also need rear tires...

and for future reference you dont have a 4L60E in your car its actually a 4L60. NO E. its not tunable there are no tables in the tune for the tranny other then lock up. all it is is a renamed 700R4. so dont get anything for your car thats 4L60E specific. K

I remember reading up on those when I was looking at shift kits and basically the consensus was that they are pretty much useless, but like Mike said there are no electronic controls for a 4L60 anyway.
