I'm willing to bet that any body shop will.

All you have to do is ask.

$1200?!? Did the guy who jacked it up fold it in half lol?
Is it rotted at all? Most shops assume anything that old is rotted and will steer clear.
Ok then, are you willing to travel? And got any pics? Let me see what's there to work with. Pretty sure I can beat $1200 ;)

the one you have Is it already painted and such or does it need to be preped. If its just a swap there are a few guys on hear that can do it if they are willing. Its not that hard just takes a while to get it all lined up the way it needs to be. You could probably do it your self.

CJaguar265

the one I have is a GM NOS fender it needs to be prepped and painted

the fender can be fixed the body guy told me but it has to come off the car and wanted an arm and a leg

I'd say bring it to a bodyshop and have them paint the fender, tho if you want them to match the color PERFECT and compensate for fading and whatnot, bring them the car and the fender and have them install it otherwise they will be going by the paint code, tho you could get creative and bring picture of the paint or even that insert in the old fender to make sure they match it perfectly so as to compensate for paint fade in addition to the paint code. btw generally I've only heard of higher end body shops doing that, don't bring it to maco and expect much

Personally I'd probably go a head and look into all the body shops around and find the highest quality one I could, and bring them the fender, paint code, and a close up photo of the fender paint when the car is CLEAN!!! but thats just me

The car is white and charcoal 2 tone right? If you want it to match perfectly then just painting the fender off is not really an option. For a perfect color match you need to blend the paint from the fender into the door, hood, gfx, and front bumper for everthing to match. White is one of the worst colors to match perfectly and charcoals aren't much better.
It's also tough to tell exactly what it needs from the pics. You show that the gfx don't sit flush but don't show what's causing it.
Honestly, if the other shop was taking your fender, jambing it, installing it, painting the 3/4 nose, and wetsand/buffing it like a good quality shop will do then a grand isn't really that bad.
Can you find someone to do something cheaper? Probably. But you get what you pay for. And they will most likely not do all those steps. You could probably get someone to spray the fender off and bolt it on but the color match can be hit or miss. And those color match cameras aren't all they are cracked up to be. They only ever helped me probably 2 out of 5 times. Other times they were way off lol.

If you want a better opinion of what is required snap a pic from underneath some can see what the bottom looks like.

I agree..Autobody work is like a boob job. You know what you want em' to look like, don't want to over pay... but it sure as hell beats the risk of the frankinstein disaster you COULD end up with to save a buck.

If it bothers you THAT bad, fix it. But u get what u pay for in the long run. And it could looks worse than what u started out with. Id leave it be honestly. If 1000 is a months pay, supplies alone is a little over a weeks worth... keep that in mind also.

However the fender your getting you have no idea how faded it is but i guess quality is only a concern till it hits the wallet lol. Yes fender will be close i would use it but i guess it depends how picky about quality you are.
