Kinda a mixed blessing isn't it? Course is it really a bad thing when one of your biggest arguments is who's car to spend money on first lol?

Nice, now you just need a tranny, fuel pump, valve springs. Minus well throw a converter in there with a stroker motor ect...LOL O-ya -roll bar.

My truck made 500/500 at 7lbs on the 5.3L. Tranny puked it's gut's out on the first 12lb hit down the road.

My84Z

Umm,ya

You just need to drive it once to blow the shit apart. Still needs the fuel upgrades at minimum. Turbo's use alot of fuel.

Yeah i will throw a walbro 255 in tank do u think the stock 28lb injectors will handle it or no chance in hell?

DAWG

forged crank forged pistons
good bypass etc.
boost retard timing box
theres a lot to do than just throw a turbo on.

Congrats on the upgrade though!

definately not that fast we aren't gonna push it this is just for her to enjoy not to get out of control. 6-8 psi probably high 11's with her will be more then fast enough.

I have no idea why you guy's didn't talk to me first.

The kit is very good, bitch to install, but good. I doubt it is complete, will probly need misc. stuff. Car will definitely need a Racetronics(not Walbro) fuel pump and hotwire kit with minimum 42lb but suggest Motron 60lb injectors.

With it being a 98 car which is 12 years old I'd highly suggest new valve springs to keep valve float away, would also think oil pump and timing chain.

I'm thinking 450-500 hp and torque at 8lbs of boost. The car will easilly run 11's with a possibility of 10's.

I don't think injectors or a pump are a big deal timing chain and a pump i didn't think about but owell gotta pull the pan anyways to do the oil fittings. Maybe I will be nice and just let you deal with it Don :)

I do the pan fittings without pulling them. To pull the pan you have to drop the k-member =$$$.

There is alot of things to make a turbo car reliable. I'm actually surprised for someone that drives easy to do a turbo kit. The boost comes in full at 1/4 throttle(meaning full power at 1/4 throttle) unlike a centrifical blower that is gradual.
