I would prefer a 1984 C4 cfi corvette block and 1984 cfi system
DCS Renegade crossfire injection performance intake manifold?:
82-84 Corvette, Camaro, Firebird and Trans AM. An OEM high performance replacement manifold. Accommodates up to 2.25 inch throttle bodies, all stock OEM crossfire accessory's to include brackets, EGR, PCV and stock vacuum fittings. Provides more power, torque, plenum area and improved gas mileage. This is a all new high performance designed cast manifold and not simply a ported or modified stock crossfire manifold. Made from aircraft grade aluminum, this unit is a complete plug and play assembly with no further modifications necessary. Power gains of 30RWHP plus have been achieved in testing over stock configuration and 20RWHP plus has been achieved over other crossfire adapted manifolds on 383 stroker motors.

If it were me id get rid of the crossfireinjection go with a setup my friend had in his 84 ta 350 c4 think if im correct it was some thing like this
SY1 runners intake ,cant port the crossfire with out cutting and rewelding not worth the time
SY-1 with custom lid made from pauls machine shop in westspringfield ma
CRANE 114143 cam i believe ill make sure
AFR 195cc heads
sy1 made 120HP over the stock intake
the crane 114142 had a slightly rougher idle in exchange for an additional 10-15hp
if you want even more power add a 383 high compression
the sy1 flows i believe270cfm out the box as to the stock cfi intake 170 cfm
sy1 can flow to the 480 hp range
this will also alow you to use orignal wireing, cpu, throttle bodies, air cleaners,ETC.
yeah youll need to have a custom lid made but they are available or you can make it yourself, youll need to find and purchase a used SY1 because EDELBROCK no longer sells them.i dont remember id it was a 383 cid 10:5:1 either i can ask it was years ago
