SO last night finally got the internals all set and every things ready to start heres a few pics of the shortblock to start i will be posting the full build as i move along!

no every thing new exept pistons they got 4 k on them oil pan 1k and ati damper 4k other than that fresh should i clean the carbon off piston top?does it matter ?

id have sent them out to be cleaned and magnafluxed before using pistons over again. unless they were yours originally?

So this morning i started to tear down the old lt4 accessories , the million wires and sensors on the damn thing gosh what hell hopefully tonight or this weekend drop it out the bottom cant wait !!!!heres some pics of what i did this morning not much but moving along ....

I took the bumper out to have some leaning room and thats wher i plan to fab the intercooler. bad back as it is getting old!!!

makes sence! maybe im just like FUCK THAT too much work and deal with bending over for 8 hours doing head gaskets...... i think im still sore after the 3rd set in a month! I HATE LT1'S!!!!! ok rant over! keep us posted! need any assistance lemme know!

i def will keep posted and yea back pains from this car are evil taking the heads off the car they seem to be ported every thing upgraded already now i need to find out what the flow numbers are and see what springs i have in there since i need a set of springs to withstand up to .650 lift thinking of pac 1518 or the 977s if i need to get them .

Lunati has a set of VooDoo spings that handle .680 lift come as a kit for the LT1 heads for a little over 100 bux. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/LUN-73943K1LUN the ones i currently have installed on my heads shimmed to handle .640 lift and brining the spring pressure to 120# on seat.

havnt been on for a while have a question looked everywher for the answer as there are many options to this! for my turbo setup im almost complete i need to set up pvc checkvave ect: what should i do do i come off the front intake port to checkvalve to oil vapor seperator back to side intake and run a puraltor breather on pass side valve cover to throttle body im so confused any ones 2 cents detailed plaese and thanks!
