We all know my cars history involving ice. This year I been watching it like a hawk. Thought I was ok since no trees were around the house... I was Wrong...

It's parked next to my window. I thought that was a good idea. Now that I can't move the car due to the plow mound that's taller than me in front of it and it's buried!!

We have a metal roof... All that snow turns to ICE! I go out side and see a glacier ready to avalanche on the driverside. Matt asks me if I want him to take it down. Nope, it's my car and if something happens I'd rather blame myself. I start with the icicles and boom... Down it goes
Right on my head and shoulder. I was ok. Had a headache for a bit but more importantly the car was ok. May have a small scratch but won't be able to tell till spring. That would have caved in the side pretty good...

Only problem with digging it out is I think we'll do more damage trying to get it out. It's all frozen ice plow mounds.
As long as we knock the overhang off a few times a day when it's melting we'll be fine. Just need to stay on top of it.

It was a big chunk that came down though. I cringed
