I would sell it buy a nice 6cy car and use the surplus to fund the build but thats just me

That's Kevin for you! The original drivetrain has already been sold! I believe he picked up a brand new crate LS6 for cheap money.

And another piece of history bites the dust. Just my opinion, but seems like a waste to me. Why can't people hack up the junkers?

you are talking 10 to 12k for even a 6cyl with a good body ,327 car s aren't really going for that much if it was a big block car with a 4spd that would different , pluss the rs is what we really liked with hideaways and rear vanlance with reverse lights in it, pluss the black gut .ron hope to be picking ls6 up any day.

Mannnnnnnnn LS swap a number matching 68 RS.... It don't seem sensible to me!!!
But nice car regardless. LS swap would be awesome but comeonnnn, another one toasted.

I like the idea, I think that would wicked cool, and if you were to bring it to car shows, it would definitly attract some attention. I saw a 69 camaro with an ls1 in it at the thompson swap meet, I thought it was pretty cool, the body needed a little work tho.
