I have a budget, and can't make up my mind. It's cheaper for me to buy a Trufiber ws9 hood than the tires and rims I like.

hood has free shipping and is less than buying it direct from them.
WS9 hood (http://www.lmperformance.com/53391/1.html)
or
WS6 hood (http://www.lmperformance.com/27003/1.html)
or this one but noticed it has to be pinned down.
Carbon fiber WS6 (http://www.visionautodynamics.com/product.php?pid=3205)

wheels and tires I can find the rims for a decent # from two different sites, but tires are a whole different issue.

silver painted Zo6's (http://www.oewheelsllc.com/Wheels-for-Camaro/By-Finish/Silver/18-Fits-Camaro-C6-Z06-p6902228.html)
or
Hyper black Zo6's (https://www.onlinetires.com/products/vehicle/wheels/wheel+replicas/c6%252Fzo6.html)

and tires range from those that are on sale from $250-600+

I'd do the wheels first, I think it looks odd when a bird has a WS6 hood and stock 16s.

Wheels.

To get one of those hoods to fit right and painted correctly with no waves is a good $500-$800.

yeah I figured I would have to deal with some kind of issues with the hood, but not if I got the carbon one...

oh and I'd get the wheels eventually.

now I struggle with 17's vs 18's
I know 17's work just fine and the cost of tires will be more gentile on the pockets, but I really like the way 18's fill the wells.

18s are right on the edge of bling IMO, it depends heavily on the style of wheel. They will also be heavier and the car won't ride as nice.

^^that's exactly why i didn't go to wide on my 18's i didn't want to lose the ride quality. my 18's are really not that much heavier then my 17's at all

Wheels!!!!!

no other change on a car, appearance wise, sets it off like the right set of wheels and tires. plus you probably will have to do more work to get the carbon fiber hood to fit and the body work on carbon fiber is usually double(atleast at the body shop i use).

my fiberglass hood fits like complete shit and will take some serious finesse to get it look OK. not a fan of any and all aftermarket glass or carbon hoods. they all take ALOT more into them then thety cost to have fitted right. better off IF you decide to go that way. get a Real GM take off hood.

But thats my opinion. and most of the time it sucks SO shut up its your car and have fun with what ever choices you make.

Wheels, most definitely.

And pizza, you're shop is ripping you off if they charge you double for carbon fiber work. It's really no different to work with than fiberglass.
But yes, pretty much any aftermarket hood fits like poo in some area or another

I agree Wheels & Tires much more of an impact for the $$$ EXCEPT it's 275/35/18s..... :poke: That's the right size to keep the Speedo correct:party2:

Don't be gay. Need wider tires in the back. Nothing worse than seeing big/thin wheels on a TA.

I agree with some people here. Personally think 18"+ wheels looks gay.
