Member Map

Hey guys, figured Id post about it in here. Basically Ive figured out a way to make a member map showing the location of members. It runs off google maps so if you have a Gmail you can save the static map. I know there is a cell phone # thread and an address thread. If the mods are cool with it and everyone is in, ill figure ill make another thread in mantown with the URL and have it stickied. Either I can set it up so only I can alter markers on maps (and people , or allow anyone who logs on can edit the map. Figure it can stay in mantown so random people don't have access to our address. :)

Questions/ideas let me know. This is the brain storm to it so, anythings welcome.

But I don't know if you have access to it currently or w/e. Remember reading something about you needing to renew.

heres the first one i could find. its OK i guess. dont like how the map is the whole country. makes no sence for us. im working on a Google Maps version now. should be able to narrow it down to north east that way.

It lists 8 Current Markers, but most times I see zero or two (pizza and my84z). Is there a trick to seeing all the markers?

Thats the link to the one I created in gmaps, you should be able to click on it and edit anything (put your info in with the marker) Let me know if it works.
Just have to click Edit on the top left above the name of the map in the side tool bar.

ok i erased that POS. they are no longer supporting it. i got rid of the other one. i WILL find one to use on this board. having to navigate away or having a link to another page may be doable But i like having it local.

it wasnt working right. at different times different people were there then i refreshed and they werent. i can try an install again i liked that one. But i think i found a better one anyway. i never got this one to load with the 22 markers on it all at once.
