And they do it with a bitty baby 5.0 LSX engine, I think they could go faster without launch control personally, they get off the line like poo.

Lol, they only make like 680HP and are geared to go about 190MPH, I'd say respectable, but yeah I can see another .3-.4 without launch control

Think it's a 6 speed sequential gearbox?

They are old school, they have 3 pedals :). Six speed manual transmissions.

so than they must be running like a 4.56 rear in order to only be able to pull 190

Their choices are 3.25, 3.50 and 3.75 final drive ratio, no others are allowed except at bathurst you can run a 3.15 rear gear because of the long straights an high speeds as the cars are not allowed to rev past 7500RPM. My other favorite thing is up until 2005 they start of life as an actual production car and then get modified. I think that is pretty cool. Now they are still produced by their respective companies but are a special non-production car to ensure their wheelbases are the same length and width. And they are still live rear axle cars, proof you can make them handle (albeit with a watts link)

I stand corrected, they released the option of a sequential gearbox in 2010.
