I would like to wait until tomorrow to see what the forecast for Sunday is, if it still shows more than 50% chance of rain then I'd say move it to the 22nd.

Yeah it's probably not gonna change, plus if we are going to postpone it the sooner the better. Only catch is the long term forecast shows rain for next Sunday also. Granted that's 9 days out. But it would suck if we postponed and then this Sunday turned out nice. But if the consensus is that we should move the cruise to the rain date then I'm fine with that.

Yeah, especially depending on the year the tranny is definitely the weak point. All depends on how hard you drive it.
And yeah, the car is fun now, especially with the road race suspension it's a ball. After the turbo swap and installing the meth injection we're shooting for 400ish at the wheels and 11 second timeslips. There's a reason I installed the rollbar when we re did the car last year ;)

I did both cars myself. Check out the project logs on here if you're curious, the wrx had a ton of work just last season. I'm not exactly a bodywork newb though. Was in the industry full time for just over ten years and had my own shop for over four years. Taking a break from it as a job for a while ;)

One of the guys at our shop did a custom framed go kart with a 1000cc yamaha engine. Had the 5 sp trans and it fucking screwed! Lasted a week until the service manager flipped it and hurt himself bad! Then it went bye bye! lol
