LT1 SS's were dipped in awesomesauce, it was part of the SLP package I think

Yes the 96-99 were shipped from assembly plant to slp detroit converted to ss and options added if any then shipped back to assembly plant to be shipped to dealer. Mine had exhaust and floor mat option.

My friend had a 96 ss years ago and to this day I have never heard a sweeter sounding lt1 ss! It had the 2OTL exhaust.
