Here are some pics of work being done.
Today was stripping the car. Pulled all the wiring out from under the hood. Will not be going back in since the car will be wired so no wires are seen and a painless fuse block will be in the car.
We also installed the manual rack.

Build plan is
427 ci resleeved LS2 From Virginia Speed
TEA/TFS 235cc 6 bolt heads with upgraded exhaust valves and springs
Precission 88mm X275 legal turbo
Truck manifolds
T-400 tranny built by RPM with transbrake ect
Yank PT3400 converter
Midwest 9", in the car but will be upgraded to a spool and 40 spline axles
Strange brakes all around
non- power master cylinder
fuel tank from Nasty Performance
80-120lb injectors
Meth injection
Super Victor intake with 90mm TB setup. (105mm was too touchy)

SYA bars and front motor plate from Madman

Wheels TBD with 28" Hoosers

Update. Shop's still busy so limited time on the car.

Got in my gas tank from Nasty Performance.Has a -12 outlet which will supply a Magnafuel pump. Return holes are -10.

Also got the Kirket seats in and the console cut to fit the Cheeta shifter.

got a painless body wiring kit to do. Plugs into the factory column and will control all the crap light lights ect.

I think the compression is 9.6-1. Planning on 14lb springs for the street which should make 800-850rw and the same torque. Hard to say how efficient the driveline will be right now.

In a Race situation by pulling into the second bulb and hitting the trans break , and THEN trying to spool the car, you will not have enough time to reach full spool before the pro tree drops. And since you can't hit the the break in the first bulb..........what other options do you got bud.

Pretty much.. Thats why this car is manual brakes so you do not loose brakes while holding boost and the 2 calipers per wheel on the back is to make sure I can control it under boost while staging/ Light first bulb, engage trans brake to bounce into 2nd bulb. Only a few seconds till the tree comes down.

Yup , and considering it's about a sec from the last staging bulb to the ambers, and .400 from the ambers to the green. 1.4 seconds is no where near enough time to be ready with a turbo car.

Rear shocks and coil overs are here. Mounting them in saturday.

4" exhaust is almost done under the car

3.5" aluminum pipe will be here this week for the cold side

body wiring harness will be here tomorrow

Just need to order rims/tires, going with billet specialties, parachute, and misc stuff.

On the fence of installing a Big stuff, will probly run stock for now.

You need something like that to hold the nose from collapsing at high speed, plus it works good for mounting stuff.

Ahhhh I didn't think of that. That's how the blown 'vettes do it but their wiper fluid tank is in a different spot.

Got some break in runs and driveline seating. Ran into a few snags but cleared them up quickly. Biggest problem was the straight 93 octain. My 15lb spring was hitting 17lbs while still spooling up so we aborted the wot runs. Made 760hp/740tq on a partial run to about 5200 rpm, 50% throttle and just shut down as the spooling came in.

I will say there is limited turbo lag.

So, still need some more wastegate spring to drop boost, better gas or get my meth kit ordered and a bunch of misc stuff done. Won't make ned this year but will be ready next spring, no problem.

put boost down to 9lbs. Made 700hp/620tq. Happy that the motor is fully seated now.

Through the winter I'll finish it up. Already spent alot of $$ and time to re coup some of it.. LOL

It sounded awesome Saturday doing some load pulls, and it does have an exhaust, its 5inch to 4 inch, through a 4 inch bullet muffler and dumped before the axle.

Definitely. I was loosing motivation on it. Now that it runs and moves it feels better. Will get a few things done like the interior, windshield ect then it will probly get parked.

Car is almost done. Got the interior sall set except the seats aren't bolted in yet. Engine compartment is mostly done except some hard vacuum lines. Hood is on and pinned. Made some brackets for the headlight covers. Will probly put some PA lights in the bumper for headlights.
Dyno graph is on engine/drivetrain breakin at 9lbs of boost since I had only 93 octain in it.

Got it up to 950rwhp at 18lbs. The tires started to ball up and spin on the dyno so we stopped there.Coverter is showing signs of too much slip but seen it alot on dyno's. so it will stay for some runs and see.

Methenol help just fine. Inlet temp at the highest point was 84 degree's.Intake was cold after every run.

It will be run on track rentals for a few to set it up. Also have to do lisence runs ect at the same time.

Running the 8.5 class won't be a problem. Setting it up to hit 1.1-1.2 60's is going to be an issue for X275.

Ya that x275 class has gotten huge there are some monsters in it but once your all dialed in you should be competitive in that class
