ok well i bought my car a little while ago and other than the dyno sheet the kid couldnt tell me much about it.. which really bothers me so i am saving up for a new engine to play with

Unless your forging it and upping cubes like a 413 or 418 don't bother.
if i had the money l99 with a 6l60e cam only. Then again if I had enough for that I'd probably get a more convenient car :P

LS3 sound pretty bad ass man, if you got the time and money i'd say go for it.
depending on the miles u have on the current engine that is.
got to remember its a FAST car, so most dumb ppl beat the shit out of them so you need to know that that's obviously what this kid did too

ill have to figure out the engine i was leaning towards the ls3 because id like to do a kenne bell twin screw supercharger on it and i know they make a kit specificly for the ls3 engine

That would be epic, theres nothing like the scream of a roots type supercharger, not to mention theres no lag with that type of FI.

A drop in LS3 wouldn't be great. To do it you need the sensor conversion harness to adapt the crank wheel pulses. Works like shit.
L99 with 6L60? Thats the reason I sold my car. What a shit setup. LOL

what would u suggest for an engine transplant? or do not suggest one at all rather just start with a new ls1 and do work to it? i honestly would like to run a twin screw supercharger so thats why i had been staying to what the kits are for.. but if u have any suggestions i am more than open to hearing them.....especially since u know theses cars and engines and their comptability way better than i do

Just a fyi, those twin screws heat soak bad.
I would do a forged 402 and a D1 procharger or F1A. And a 4l80e. Just my .02

They make twin screw's for older heads too.
You can build anything nowadays.
