horse power did a very high end build on a new style hemi motor full cnc ported heads way high end block work, 426 stroker kit and they only got like 650 with a 6-71 blower sitting on top of it at the crank. what makes the new hemi so inefficient in even stock form and so non mod friendly?

I saw it! LOL but ya know , in defense of the motor , just like any motor you'll see with those kinds of blowers they take alot of power too spin unlike the smaller centrifugal style.
Also i know they were describing the parts like pistons and such as being able to take "14 lb's of boost" (which was a ridiculous statement in itself) i don't think i ever heard them say how much boost they actually ran???? did you catch it?

BES did a new hemi and won engine masters challenge with it last year. I guess the ignition is tricky on those.

ya but look at it this way what is a full 436 race built LS going to make Na 600+ probably with good heads. ya i think the LS they built got like
368 NA
423 rwhp with the 80 shot
460 rwhp with a 125 shot
but it only had 8.5 to one CR put down close to 600 on low boost when the put the pro charger on it

I'm sorry I think 90 percent of the hp magazines and shows are full of bs with sponsors regulating what they do and what they show. Just like any "reality" show
