Ive done alot of deep sea fishing, caught a couple tuna, but that was badass. Must be pretty wild to catch a friggin shark haha

Makos are crazy pretty much the only thing and can compare in speed to marlin. And as far as I know the only species that will actually follow the line to the boat and jump into it on purpose. Always wanted to catch one

Hell yeah man, that's almost as good as landing a giant! Mako's put up one helluva fight and run like a friggin madman on bath salts. Would love to hook into one of em sometime. Awesome video and especially cool doing in on a fly rod. Would've been kickass if they landed it.

I didn't know they are known to follow lines and jump into boats on purpose. That's crazy.
