View Full Version : Rear LCA tight access to front chassis bolt

What do you guys use to torque down your front bolt/nut on the rear LCA's? This is the chassis side. Lots of install docs recommend 80 ft/lbs on both sides.. nut and bolt. I can't figure out how to get my torque wrench in on either side. My LCAs are on tight.. just not torqued.
These are dual rod end LCA's by the way.

Yeah I second that. Big ratchet or breaker bar 1/2 drive and Tighten it up! Good to go.

Whatever you do, don't try to tighten any aftermarket LCA bolts on say a set of LCA relo brackets to 80 ft-lbs... I tried it and stripped the bolt. Maybe the stock bolts are good enough for 80 ft-lbs.. not the ones you get from like UMI.
i used grade 8 bolts and tightened the piss outta them by hand. which isnt very tight if youve met me
