F**K Town Fair Tire

Soooo i went and got my tires put on yesterday...well as i was washing my car tonight i noticed a nice chunk of my hockey stick in missing! Which was not there before. Just so happens its dead center on the stripe right over my wheel well. Looks like some jackass leaned the tire against my fender and rubbed part of the vinyl off. So needless to say town fair is getting an ear full tomm.. and they better pay up! :mad::ahhhhhhh:

I literally had to show their "lead tech" how to locate the TPMS sensor on a van I drive at work. After breaking the sensor the first time and four tries to reset the sensors the light was still on and I had to take the van to the Ford dealer to have them reset the sensors.

When I went there to get new tires on my dad's escort I was "talking" to one of the "Technicians" and lets just say it ended when he said "No hablo Ingles?"

When I have tires put on I never bring them the car, I take the wheels off. I also have all my mounting and balancing done at the dealer now, they've done really good work for me and give me a big discount :)

i got a great deal on my tires but just brought them the rims. while i was there one of the "techs" came out to explain to another customer that he broke off 2 studs because someone else left switched the gun to tighten

that really sucks i will never bring my cars to places like that i know some people that i graduated high school with that work at town fair tire and similar places as "techs" that should not allowed anywhere near a car never mind work on them

I'm bias when it comes to Town Fair my brother works there and I have quite a few friends that work for them in different shops I get great service (mainly because I go right out back and pay the techs $10-20 to do my bidding.

plus if I'm dealing with a shop I don't know my car never leaves my sight.

i feel the same way about taking my car places...theres only a few people i trust with my car. idk how people manage to damage shit by putting a fucking tire on..its baffles me...so anyways store manager said theres nothing he can do but was very nice and understood..and his regional manager said no go without even seeing the car??(asshole) so now im gonna have to call the main offices and fight with them...this is all horseshit just for 2 fucking tires!!!!!

I also hate that they use an impact gun on the lugs. even with the torque sticks it always seems like they are tighten to over 200 foot pounds. If you get a flat and don't have a breaker bar you are completely fucked. Not to mention it is a good way to warp rotors

I know how you feel Maddie. Before I moved down here Michelle had to move down 1 month before me. A couple days after she got down here her A/C stopped working. Well her dad took it upon himself to take it to Tires Plus to have it fixed. The worst part about it is that he specifically told the manager to not scratch the car. Well guess what he picked up the car and there was a 3inch long scratch in the top of the passenger side fender in the ghost flames. He called me and I was pissed. One month later I moved on down and first thing I did was go and see the owner and he said that he could wetsand it and buff it. I said sorry bud Ive been doing it for along time and already tried it so you better be painting the nose of the car. Well long story short nothing ended up happening. Fucking assholes...

wow that sucks justin...thats absolute bullshit they didnt fix it, i would have punched the guy in the face lol...i hope it doesnt get to the point where im gonna have to go the legal route...they are a damn billion dollar company i dont think a couple hundred bucks is goin to put them out of business...cheap bastards. smokes I'm sorry I didn't warn you sooner about service shops down there. I badly needed an oil change and decided to take it to a quick lube, they stripped the plug as I watched them change the oil then struggle to get it back on. I dragged the manager over to see what had happened and they flat out said "There's nothing we can do it was like that when you brought it in".
I fkn snapped told him to get his district manager on the phone. gives me all this b/s about liability and started in on the "it was like that" crap. Short story is I got fucked.

had to tap it out myself and changed the oil in the street/dirt driveway we had down there. and it still leaked.

well finally talked to someone again today...he said they would be willing to pay for half so whatever im not gonna keep fighting with em..they are going to pay for the decals themselves and i obv have to do the install part. im happy they arent trying to completely screw me. i was def waiting for the "we arent giving u anything" line. thankfully the place i got em from is still in business!
