Hi everyone, Finally settled down up here after being medically discharged from the marines and stumbled across this site and I swear the picture looks like the back of SlowHawkPerformance... lol. Anyways hoping to meet some fellow gearheads and maybe get in on some cruises etc. Waiting for this winter to end so I can do some fun stuff. And I already added pictures as well as some of my recently fabricated turn signals. They turned out soso but it was my first attempt at something like that so I'm happy with them and FINALLY both are on all the time instead of the famous 1 or the other only lit up :)

Welcome to the site. And yeah, that is the back of slowhawks. And you should listen to them, or they will eat you alive with a finely chilled chianti and some fava beans lol!

Nice looking ride, man. Ever think of doing the rear fill-ins?

Have you done anything to the car or pretty much stock?

Yeah my wife just gave birth so I'm behind lol but i did put up 6 pics on my profile though when i get home to my actual computer I can add some more. Maybe post some on this thread. I'll also head over to the Facebook page. Been so busy havent had a chance to meet anyone up here yet so kinda boring. Same to you DemonWithin99, I figured there would be a few military lurking around.

Can't say I've heard of the rear fill in thing... I'll have to google that. As far as mods I swapped out the LS1 after I spun a rod bearing with an LQ4 I picked up from Don which is why I recognized the back but wasnt positive. So right now I have an LQ4 with LS1 heads and LS6 Intake manifold, Some QTP headers with a blowmaster exhaust... It was checked over and tuned by Don not long ago once I got back from Pennsylvania where I spun the rod bearing. Other than that its just little mods here n there. I have the FIPK2 air intake and I cutout underneath it to help with airflow. Deleted my AC and EGR system and modified a bunch of other stuff. Hoping too to add to the list soon but now sure which direction i'm heading. I'll be adding my mods and stuff under my posts once I get a chance. Sorry if something I say doesnt make sense I'm extremely tired lol this hospital bed is hell.

Thanks for all the welcomes and thank you Bigmac76 its a work in progress like they always are lol. finally stripped the moldings off and I like the cleaner look. I need to take some new pics once this weather improves and hopefully meet some of the crew at Don's on april 20th I know I'll be there lol I need to know where I'm even at in power.

Rear fill ins refers to decals that go in the indented PONTIAC letters on the back bumper. They come in many different colors and really set off the rear of the car.

Oh your talking about the lettering in the back huh lol... I'm delusional. I plan on doing some more exterior mods soon. Finished my custom turn signals and stripped side molding. need to redo my rear bumper and refresh the CETA etc. Paint job isnt the best anymore so I've been holding off on appearance for the most part but who knows.

Honestly never thought about doing that but great suggestion since I'm doing everything else in black. SO I'm going to have to pick some up. Going to redo my fogs and probably do the black outline on those like m y turn signals so I have a theme going... just dont want it to start looking ricey... haha

Thanks again everyone. And yeah glad to see a lot of close members and some military as well. Should be a fun filled spring and summer. My only problem is I seem to work the opposite of everyone else so I'll have to try meeting with people on the weekends. I work 2pm to 1100pm mon-fri but other than that if anyone has install parties etc etc I'm game if I'm home. Hell even just some cruising around. Anyways glad to be here and feel very welcomed.

Well about to leave the hospital today and security calls me down to the main lobby... Seems someone smashed my passenger window and burglarized my car. Just my luck lol. I think they only took my GPS but too heated to really take a legit inventory right now. I know my head unit was still intact. On the plus side I wont have those stupid scratch marks from the window tracks anymore... unless the replacement has them.
