remember all my heating issues ive been having?
and how i ended up taking out the turbos, having two fans on an aluminum radiator, then added my stock rad in, with another fan, and still ran hot? well after all that draining, adding, draining, and adding of water and coolant, i guess i never really kept track of it... a month or two ago i started my car to some AWFUL screeching noises by the belts, everything was turning, but it was a terrible terrible noise... next day, started up, ran flawless...no idea. so it sat. i didnt need to drive it anyways. snow also... so the other day i go to put it away, it had been outside, and same thing, start it up, awful screech is back.. it looked like it was something to do with the WP, but the belt was moving, maybe vibrating a bit. so i shut it down to investigate more.. lean on some hoses... which were ROCK solid... umm woops... i guess i only had water in my engine... woops... so about 30 minutes later with a heat gun, and starting the car, it run quietly, i pull it in quickly to my garage, put it up in the air, turn on the heat and see it leaking water a little more quickly than just the melting snow from the top.. oh what is that... wasnt that... oh a hole where the freeze plug used to be... huh... ill have to get another one of those... anyways. long story coming to an end, put in a new one (it popped the easiest one to get to, lucky me) and so far, no issues, ran it, let it heat up, shut it down, started it.. just have a weak battery, but other than that. no problems.. okay im going back to working in the basement.
