So wanted to start a build thread for a customers car its an 02 WS6 TA Convertible MWC Fab Rear, MWC Tubular K, MWC Upper and Lower control arms, Viking Coilovers up front. Starting with a 10pt Chromoly cage then will move on to the turbo kit. This will be one badass street car so stay tuned!!! :)

Its a Bullseyepower Batmowheel S594 94mm 111mm Exhaust 1.45 AR Turbo is good for 1900hp with a Cast wheel

We have been working on the cage this is all custom bent since its a Convertible many things are different from the normal hardtop/t top cages but its coming along nicely.

Thanks guys not to go into detail but we bought a pre bent and notched kit just to save a little time and well it wasn't even close. I wont go into detail till we finish this one and to see if the company reimburses us for our time
But last night got most of it fitted door bars next then finish weld it up.

Nice, that's a good 50-70k build.
Can see your issue's with the cage. Sucks. Never right unless it's custom.

Thanks Don, it will be in that range no problem. Luckily 10k was already sitting in the car with a fab 9 and jakes stage 5.
As for the cage I would of had no problem building one from the start but the company that sent it took 9 weeks after saying it was shipped 8 weeks prior and then after I called and said it didn't fit correctly I was told that what happened was they waited for a vert to come in to mock off of and it just never showed so they shipped this one. Knowing Damn well it wouldnt fit since its for a hardtop car. That's what really Pissed me off, but it's came together nice and it really should have more of a cage but he's refusing to go bigger.

Still will be an 8.50 cert we will add some gussets for added strength so we will feel better about driving it for when he comes back from Afghanistan. He wants it in the 8s before then which this will do off the footbrake lol

Curious question, and I dont mean just for this build but if someone is going to spend this amount of money on a build, why do you go with such a large frame turbo? The BW turbos work great dont get me wrong but why not go with something like a Precision that utilizes t4 flanges and housings over the T6?

Yeah, I saw this at SEMA last year. That dude in the pic told me it weighs over 2000 lbs. Might be a little hard getting the car to hook with that much weight up front.

Just ordered the motor for this project. Picked a 427 Dart LS Next built by LME we were deciding between a few different shops but I said to Bill that I would trust LME over some of the others based on how many of these are out there putting down some big numbers. Can't wait to see this thing come together
