Apparently some local businesses didn't appreciate the cruise nights at Burger King and now it is no more.

The bk in Bristol years ago I use to cruise there just like the pike they ended up doing the same thing stopping the show and if you showed up you had to buy food to hang out and when you were done eating you had yo leave or you got a trespassing ticket.

Yes and no. The main Saturday night cruise at Burger King is no more. I'm sure there will still be plenty of people cruising the strip but I don't know where people will congregate now.

I used to try to get down there at least once a month. Of course this year the car only left the driveway twice before I noticed the bad water pump, and once that was done I took it for inspection and it failed for the parking brake. And I leave for two weeks on Friday so it will be mid-late June now before the car is ready to go. :/

Panera bread has a show every other Saturday. This Saturday is a show. There is some people still going to bk but its not a orginized show.

No because people are buying food. But talking to them the Saturday we did are cruse they were wishing the orginized car show was still there. Theres a lot of ricers and as the night got later the morons were at bobs parking lot next bk doing there drifting and motorcycles doing tricks. The cops were every where and of course the idiots on the street were doing burn outs right in front of the copd and getting pulled over.

If were to become a cop, I know I would let more muscle cars go 65-70 in a 55 then ricers.

Yeah.. The BK meets being canned is such complete bull shit... Just goes to show that CT doesn't like anything that isn't BMW's or cash money. A friend Bob and I have been going for the past three or so years and my entire summer revolved around these meets. Granted I'm not in CT anymore but I still planned on going but sitting with friends and BSing all night. it was a great end to the week to just sit there, smell the octane and relax with some friends. Too bad the Bob's rice meet ruined it.

I've been to the Panera shows before but wasn't a huge fan. I guess we'll all just have to find somewhere else to go. I'll be going next Saturday (weekend of the 6th) not with an F-Body but just to walk around.
