Bought 12/87 with 36k on it. Stock=slow 15.7@92mph

Ron, I saw your car at Guidos last year and it is sweet. Nice work. I've always had a soft spot in my heart for the Montes and the other G bodys.

I think rons goal with the motor and trans was to be able to enjoy the car again and not have to fuck with it all the time. A blower or turbo would work against that. I say the thing is perfect the way it is may be a small cam (sub 228@.050) and enjoy and may be a bear brake kit or some thing like a 91-95 b body spindle upgrade with the 12 inch brakes to keep up with that kick as pro touring look. :)

I basically wanted reliability that my 408 did not have. As fas as brakes go the car does already have the B-body spindle swap with Camaro 1Le rotors on it. I still plan on doing a cam swap in the future and eventually doing a supercharger. Just need some more $$$$$$$$! LOL :ls6monte:
