View Full Version : 420L inline pump limit found

Been getting the Red truck ready for the year.Got the E-boost working right and kept hitting a wall on A/F.Finally logged the fuel pressure and saw it going bad at 5k rpm.Checked the pumps and found 1 is not working.
So,needless to say with 1 pump it make alittle power.Hopefully I'll get a new one soon and put some timing in this.

Here is the graph at 15.5lbs and a low 13 degree's of timing running 93 octain with Meth injection.

your telling me it will make over 800rwhp with a SINGLE 420L Inline pump?!?! Damn cant wait to see what it puts down with 2 working pumps!!!!

I'd say 750hp/750tq with 1.Plus it run alot of methenol.

Figured out today a check valve is bad.So getting one of those and some new filters since the cell is drained.We are shooting for 850-900hp and 820-860tq on this 93 octain.That should put him in a low 9 second pass in the spring.

Both pumps should hold 1100-1200rwhp.Not bad for dead quiet street pumps.

Well,looks like the one way valve failed and got stuck.Will get another and hit the dyno again.Can't wait to finish it.Will get fully tuned at 12lbs up to 18-20psi. Street driving will be 12lbs,then flip a switch to another setting of 16-20lbs.Will be nice to hit a switch and gain 200hp/200tq instantly..
