Upon my return from my 2 week work trip in Europe mid May I will be handing over the keys of my 93 TA to it's new owner.
Therefore I will be, & actually these past 2 weeks, have been searching for a "new" car.
My 1st search for for a 77/8 TA, looked a few, a couple were in really bad shape, nope.
Not looking for a project like this lst one was.
Looking at LS1 TA's again as well & they can be had for well under 10K.
I get to keep all the under hood "bling", dunno if i'm "gunna" sell that stuff or put it on my next car if I get another 4th gen.
So if anyone sees or hears of any of the above mentioned cars coming up F/S after mid May, please toss me a link, address, etc.
Thanks

just a quick search for dealers who may still have them by the time you return

Yeah, I don’t mind Camaros, but they’ve never been my 1st choice for a ride.
I’ve had a “love” for Trans Am’s since 1976 when David Carradine drove a bad ass 1970 Trans Am in Cannonball.
The Camaro has never “done anything” for me.
And for $8500, I don’t want a work in progress car.
Again, thanks for looking though!
BTW, I have a program that lets me search craigslist all over the country & I’ve set up my search between $4K & $9K.
I did it this way so parts & parts cars are weeded out.
I’ve also set my search for a 500 mile radius, sometimes I do a 1000 mile search, so chances are if you find one (TA) on CL, I’ve seen it.i did find a formy...

TA's please.
BTW, I'm "picky".
If it doesn't have the poncho engine, nope, don't want it.
I've passed on cars with the olds engine as well, even the 79 anniv with the 403.
I was hoping you guys knew someone who knew someone selling vs CL & autotrader, both of which I can search!

I hear you 100% there. I've never been a camaro fan. Always firebirds. Matter of fact only reason I got the 95 was because it was too good of a deal to pass up and I actually bought it with every intention of stripping it for parts. The motor/trans were originally supposed to go into my 87. Then it drove so nice my other half fell in love with it. Now I'm stuck with it lol.
That and I figure since I can't ever buy a new bird now I may as well get used to camaro's since I fully intend to own a 5th gen one day...
