did you try pulling the ECM open and making sure its not full of moisture. Number one cause of Jeep running issues If the TPS isnt doing it. wiggle the middle connector. if it starts idle surging or stalls or runs noticeably different it needs an ECU.

Nope, haven't tried that yet. No one else has mentioned that ;)
Next time I'm picking away at it I'll look though thank you.

Absolutely. Did great once the actuator finally decided to kick in and engage the front end lol. Only took a minute or so but was long enough to make me nervous. First trip was down rt2 from Leominster to home (normally about a half hour) in the middle of the storm Sunday night.
It's not quite as goods the jeep but I think that's all in the tires. The trucks are far less aggressive than the mt/r's on the jeep ;) Still did very well though.

thats the first sign its failing Matt. goto the dealer and get the updated/95 up finned type. you will need a pigtail along with it. RC Truck in Brockton was going to sell me the pigtail for 15 bux. dealer wanted 90.....

Either that or just one of the posi-lock cables and do away with the actuator entirely. We'll see when the time comes. For now, its still working. Just takes a minute ;)

Or we trade both the truck and the heep in and get a new truck that doesn't break :)

I accepted the fact we will have a fleet. Normal people sell/trade previous vehicles to get new vehicle. He can't let go of any of the previous. Over time older vehicles usually break together and rather than fixing what we already own... We get another "project". The "fleet" u all know is the 6 he shows. We have two more projects if I can't talk him into scrapping the rotted 87 in his moms backyard. I also been hearing talk of him wanting a new Camaro. He has hoarding issues ;)
