dont you need to put the backing plates on befor he axles get the bearings pressed on with the retainers?

Nope my axles are 100% assembled from Moser pressed on with the spacer for LT1 brakes and all. all you do is notch the Bracket to slip snuggly over the axle end near the flange. and just bolt it up.

So i called GM today. the brake brackets Brand New are 51 a piece. Not TOO bad. ill paint em out of the box instead of having some blasted(wich would probably cost me 50 anyway) so im really only spending 50 bux extra for them wich is probably what they would cost new? and ill get drilled and slotted rotors and new calipers and hoses. have it all on the rear end before the swap. should save some time. ill even do the hose and lines while im at it. still gotta figure out a mounting tab for the fuckin hose though.
