???? i beg to differ. ive yet to see sea level make .4 difference in the quarter wen going from NED wich is 120 feet above sea level....

that 12.42 was during a june or july night. i never got up to NED in october to run the cool weather. remember i had that tranny leak?

i def dont think i could get a 11.9x pass with just going to atco with this exact setup. but im sure it would muster up a low 12.3 high 12.2 thereon a great day.

u got to remember i have BONE STOCK SUSPENSION AND BONE STOCK GEARS. once i dig into suspension i think im gonna great great results. i have seen some cars with less power bolt ons then me with complete suspension bolt ons running 12.5's. i feel like nice weld in SFC's, a quality drag bar and some QA1 coil overs will go a long way

oh and pizza i have seen a lot of cars on tech spraying 150 shots on the stock longblock and have lasted years and years. its all about setting it up properly. i would prolly run a 2 stage with a window switch with timing taken out and a mixture of race gas and 93. if i plan to go the nitrous route noyzee will be the guy i go to for the setup.

I do know a guy who picked up 4 tenths going from LVD to Atco, granted LVD is about 600' elevation though.

50 degree air and Atco might do it though...

More often then not tony nitrous after a while will fuck your shit up. its just the way it is. you can do what you want. i will NEVER trust Nitrous. seeing the built motors on the floor broken im all set. all it takes is ONE time it runs lean and your fucked.

If you do it be as safe as you can: pull timing, use a wet shot, don't go too big on the stock bottom end. But I'd do a cam first personally.

N/A to me is more impressive. everyone KINDA looks at spary as cheating in a way. its like WOW your fast but you had to buy a bottle to do it....

Get your 11 sec pass N/A bolt on only. i know you can do it your not stupid. ill help yah how ever i can. ill try and steer you in the right direction as much as i can. BUT we all know how pig headed you are!!! HAHAHAHA So get your 11 sec pass. AND THEN go from there!!!

i may be pig headed at times but it seems to be working for me so far!

i'll be honest im just an idiot who can read online forums and am willing to try new things. i've just done a ton of research (im on ls1tech literally everyday for 30min - sometimes 2-3 hours) i try to do my homework before every mod and see what will optimize my personal setup for my goals.

its easy to jump ahead to big power (as u can see its already on my mind) but i need to focus at the task at hand and reach my goal first. and the way i look at it i am slowly setting my car up as a complete drag setup. once i get the bolt on thing tackled all i will really need to add is a big power drivetrain, tune it, and throw in a 9 inch or 12 bolt and i will be running sweet times for my mods because the racewight, suspension, and complete setup will be there. im planning for the long run thats for sure
