I'm going to bring the hot and cold side to get ceramic coated in a couple weeks I was thinking hot side flat black with the red tial wastegates will look good and glossy black for the cold side. What do you guys think?? Keep cold side polished? Just looking for opinions

ILuvPizzaTimes10 01-06-2013 01:01 AM

polished look Not factory to me. like its stuck on. Not like that setup Looks stock by anymeans. But the black will be a nice Finishing touch i think.

My84Z 01-06-2013 03:07 AM

I think it'll look good the way you wanna do it

Camaro9969 01-07-2013 03:54 AM

I guess if I didn't like it I could just make a new polished cold side haha I am going to make a 4" cs anyways to go with the new intake

Camaro9969 01-07-2013 04:11 AM

Been driving and tuning. Car is just crazy on the street 9° timing 5psi spinning tires at 70mph like nothing! Soon as it even hits any boost it spins the tires no matter what speed. I know its cold but god damm!

I got some 305 35 18' mt drag radials for the summer hope they help!

Camaro9969 01-15-2013 10:42 PM

Took the car out last night for a drive it was awesome! Beat a V10 M5 on the way just toying with it.....Cant ever get full throttle even at 105 started spinning the tires on the highway. Amazing for 8.5 deg timing and barely hitting 7.25psi LOL One thing that already needs to get changed are the gears, Currently have 373s and was almost topping them out. Thinking of 325's or maybe 342's just want something that isnt so annoying on the highway.

you're effing crazy man!!!!!!!

Hahaha Thanks man! Whats funny is the Wg's didnt even open and it was still spinning like crazy..... The BOV sounds great if i add another its just going to make more noise :) I'll be sucking in a few civics and mustangs in there

Formula413 01-15-2013 11:23 PM

I know turbo cars love tall gears, might help a little bit with keeping the tires from going up in smoke too

Camaro9969 01-15-2013 11:47 PM

And so I don't pull a huge wheel stand. I'm not into that....

ILuvPizzaTimes10 01-16-2013 01:51 AM

looks and sounds badass!! Now Get that fucker tuned in!!!!!!!!

It basically is. Idle tuning needs a little work but wot afrs right at 11.2 where they should be. There's a lot of fine tuning but its hard to make good logs to work with I might rent some dyno time... I'm only running 43psi fuel pressure these injectors can handle a ton I want some e85 but no reason at this point its too much power for the street right now

ILuvPizzaTimes10 01-16-2013 02:22 AM

gunna need dyno time to really see the timing increase limit? timing seems Low to me? But im no turbo guy either.

The timing is very low haha prob do 13 degrees on pump and 16 on e85...I can't make full logs because I can't get it to have a "real" load on the car like a loaded dyno would. I'm not just going to turn everything up and see what happens. :)

whitdog54 01-16-2013 03:37 AM

dyno day at dons shop! get this beast on there. 4 digit HP numbers seem very doable
