Painful conversation...
 

Last night at work, I overhear two guys talking about their cars. I hear 500+ hp in a 99 trans am. I'm curious so I join conversation. HUGE mistake lol. He at first sounded creditable, that didn't last long tho. I was talking about my jeep situation and how I got a truck instead, and how it was my luck my check engine light came on. He said it was misfiring. I said no it's obd1. He said again "no it probably is ... I hope not cause that means you have to change your heads" !?! I paused puzzled for a min asked if he was serious. He said trust me, I know. I said "it doesn't throw misfire codes and even if it did I would think change plugs or coil(s).

It got worse. He followed me all night. I'm outside and a regular says how is your truck. We got talking motors for it and I said I have a lt1 that I would b great in my truck. Same idiot says "no do a 350" I got annoyed and said it HAS a 350! The lt1 is a 350!

After all this he asks for my #. What a TOOL!!

This girl is totally gonna give me her number cause she'll be so impressed by my car knowledge... :haha:

Wow. Its funny because my wife drives a 99z28 and knows a decent amount about cars. She got into a battle with a guy at her work telling her there's no way camaros came with a 9 inch wide wheel from the factory and that there's know way I can fit a 27x11.5x15 under my ss. Needless to say she proved him wrong. Lol

And this is exactly why I almost never get into car conversations at work. I have a very low tolerance for stupidity lately lol.

So I gotta ask did he get the digits? lol

Easy for you ... My conversations have to b more than "want another beer?" tho.
