gauging interest in a club meet/open house
 

A&C race engines and race car chassis is willing to do an open house day for us.
they are located in Canaan CT. and its also the place where my brother inlaw and I are transforming the 53 chevy.

they have an extensive engine dyno room and machine shop.
chassis fabrication areas
diagnostic and repair bays
massive parts inventory.
they also perform the big rig truck repairs and towing services.

You'll have a hell of a time getting most people to drive that far. Not too bad for me, but for most people it's probably around 3 hours.

yeah most of the CT crew has little issue with driving to things, the Mass peeps don't like to leave the state... lol

what is this a car meet ? when? and invites only?

no a club get together along with an open house where we are working on our 53 chevy.
if only a couple show its not worth the effort or time from myself or the owner to buy all the munchies and set up a few displays etc.
I know he will do engine dyno runs to show everyone how its done etc.

i can't say either way but if it were a sunday there is a better chance i could make it but it would all depend on the date and time

date isnt set yet but ill try getting some other clubs included aswell.

yeah kinda mid winter thing to get us motivated and anxious for the up coming season lol.
heck if I time this right we can do that then go to highland lake in Winsted and watch the drags on the ice with the drag sleds lol.
