ILuvPizzaTimes10 05-04-2011 01:38 PM

im working on some decals. and you dont need 3 grand. what i woul do if i was you is Buy 941LE's housing and get a center section from Quick Performanxce threw ebay. i know your thinking EBAY WTF! but for ~700 bux you get a nodular case daytona pinion support motive gears and a detroit. and for 1800 after shipping and everything its a bargain. i Love my rear housing(same one mike has forsale) i just had some center section issues.... hahaha

I cant see that being strong enough for 5 grand clutch dumps with slicks haha. I want to be in the 10's by the end of the summer.

941LE 05-05-2011 02:59 AM

it was the center section. not the housing and axles that failed

no kidding hmmm well its something to think about. I'm hoping that a ford 9" pops up for sale somewhere for under 2 grand hahaha. I have a Turbo and or NOS to throw on the car. Also a 6.0 Sitting in my garage I was dumb and bought a bunch of shit not deciding what way I wanted to go

mormjatt 05-05-2011 10:52 AM

mikes housing is brand new. and total cost of his housing and a brand new center section will be under 2k. there are plenty of guys in the 10's with this housing.

Camaro9969 05-05-2011 06:31 PM

Well i'll def look into it and talk with you guys next sunday. I just got an email from the guys at monster this is pretty cool i need to put up some good times for him so i can have a little bragging rights cause right now its pathetic but my 116 trap speeds are damn good!

941LE 05-05-2011 09:32 PM

that mean i can get my TA on that? i have a monster stg 3 in mine also

Camaro9969 05-24-2011 02:16 AM

Changed my grill used a 69 Chevy SS emblem. What u think is better SS or the empty grill

Formula413 05-24-2011 02:20 AM

Hmmm tough call...I'm not a huge fan of billet grills but that one actually looks pretty good. But I really like the look of the open grill on Camaros, especially if the holes have been filled and painted. And the red CAMARO inserts really set it off.

941LE 05-24-2011 02:20 AM

i like the change. either way it does look good

Camaro9969 05-24-2011 02:40 AM

Thanks man. Ya I usually don't like these grills but the SS in the middle helps. Ill get the holes filled in or get the slp grill when I paint the whole car next year. I think I'm gonna buyyour 9" I just need to wait a few weeks and get back to worj so if u have it ill take it to dons

You got any pictures of your ta on here? That shit is nasty can't wait to hear what it runs

941LE 05-24-2011 03:04 AM

nahh not really. just waiting to get the new bumper put on and the stripes taken off. soon though.

irockidz28 05-24-2011 03:36 AM

i like the grill...although i guess i am alone in disliking the open grill on the camaros

bottledbird68 05-24-2011 04:43 PM

Yeah, not nomally a billet grill fan but being black and with the emblem there I think it just works
