holy shit

holy shit is right. lol
I saw that a while ago poking around on youtube. Shit sucks hardcore, bascially ruined his car lol.
saw that before but still sick, that tire ruined that car.
lol blew the wheel well right out
That tire must have been dry rotted. I never seen shit like that happening that soon into a burnout.
well that sucks. How do you explain that to insurance? hha
i think it had everything to do with wheel speed. when you do a peg leg burnout the tire actually turns much faster due to the spider/pinion gears in the diff not being a 1:1 ratio. for instance if the speedo was at 100mph, the wheel speed could have been 200mph.

DAMN!

stell belted radial will do that!!!!
but still lame cuz they use water ( cmon real cars dont need water to get the tires to spin!) and they are doing the burnouts on steel plates???? look closely youll see the plates. |

or if your lucky ur best friend works @ Town Fair Tire... and will give u the throw away tires... for 0 and the best part is usually they r not half bad... good enough to roast off
^ or u just go thru the dumpsters after they close hahaha
what you do is use bias ply slicks since they dont typically explode!

Funny. i read an article in hot rod Maybe 3 years ago. Old School Jack Ass just like you thought the same thing.... brought his 31"x15" slick to the plate. Sed "Real Cars Dont Need Water To Spin Em" So the guy watering the box stopped. the guy proceeded to trans brake up the car. let it rip and SHEARED all 5, 5/8" Strange Hardened wheel studs, on one axle. Guess the slicks work...... Dumbass. |
