Should I get this tomorrow.
Tomorrow morning I might head up to bestbuy and buy this Samsung 32" tv for $380. I've been putting off getting a tv for like a year I have an old ass 20" tube tv in my room and I realize how fuckin cheap I am I only spend money on my Camaro. So I'm finally breaking down and doing it. Should I spend it or stick to squinting at the 20" and order some headers and ory instead? hahaha :klab:

i wouldnt pay that much for a 720P Tv in this day and age. i have one now i bought it before 1080P came out i LOVE it and its a Samsung. but i wouldnt go and get a 720P tv today.

780p on a 32" is plenty I'm not hosting cinema events and shit in my room its for me and the chick!
Well, the cheapest one I could find is an Element 32" for $320. but I figure whats 50 bucks or so more for the Samsung, which pwns Element?
Element uses Samsung internals BUT samsung doesnt hand out there firmware. and there dynamic contrast ratio is AMAZING!!!! i see your point. and for that matter a 720P tv will also utilize 1080I wich i believe is still the max threw put for comcast and direct TV. i could be wrong?
i would wait for after christmass shit is going to be all on sale
yo fuck that b/s tv yeah it's 720p (no it will not put out 1080i) and it's only a 60hz. if you are that in need of a tv wait it out until the clearance sales after the new year. aim for 120hz or better. and quit being cheap. go Sony, Samsung, or even LG. also look for nothing less than 1080p. it'll be worth it in the long run.
<< still running a Sony rear projector that puts out 1080i, and still keeps up with todays broadcasts. got it back in Jan 04' as an xmas 03' clearance. great deal. but really do your homework. go to the stores a few times and check out all the features the tv you want has and search sites like cnet, consumer reports and even pcmag. find out what others have had problems with or pros-cons. Don't be a lemming and buy something because it's cheap and looks nice. That's what Mustang owners do. |
Ohh and for the record a 720P tv will do 1080I my tv and ALL samsungs Do that were advertised for 720P. 720P looks better for sports and video games. But as far as wasting your money on 120hz or better for a 32" is useless IMO i could see it on a 40+ but not that small what difference there is would be not neccisary for the price increase. and FUCK SONY!!!!! all it is is a reboxed Philips Pieces of ass for WAYYYY too much money. get either a no name and save a few bux and have the TV outlast Sony Samsung and LG like the Vizio. Or even check out the consumer reports on the element there actually doing pretty well in the entry level LCD market. OR get a Samsung Panasonic LG for the extra few bux and slight better picture quality.
Well wtf I don't wanna wait another whole month!! Samsung for $370 or the lil Element guy for like $300!?
I have 3 Vizio's, great TV and I got a 37" and a 46" for less then 1 Sony TV. Also have a 22" I use as a secondary monitor for my computer
i have a 32" LG ...its 60 Hz and i love it it was a couple more bucks when i got it but at the store looking at the different tvs side by side the picture was so much better..it is about a year and a half old now so idk if others are better im very happy with it
I got the 32" Samsung today, all set up nice and now I can hear my tv channels thru my sound system with these audio out jacks. Looks amazing and much better than the old shit hahaha! :klab: :D
