Ran with new TH350

So I ran my car last night. It was def hot and muggy out so I didn't have that going for me.
the car wasn't 60 llike it did when it was a m6 due to only being able to foot brake to 2500 or so. Def need to get the trans brake hooked up. Bascially when my car went 10.90 it was cold out and I was launching at 6k, last night the car ran pretty much the same off of the footbrake and a much shittier da.

Best pass of the night and new best 1/8mph

60 -1.72
330-4.68
1/8- 7.13
Mph- 100.0
1000- 9.25
ET- 11.05 @ 125.3

Not too shabby for only footbraking it! Once you get the brake hooked up it should rip

ILuvPizzaTimes10 09-22-2011 12:35 PM

not too bad for a stock bottom end LS1!!!! HOOK UPP THEEE BRAKEEEEE

My84Z 09-22-2011 01:05 PM

Why wouldn't it stall up to the 4000?

ILuvPizzaTimes10 09-22-2011 01:11 PM

th350 stalls are funky. it will hold at what ever the stall rpm under load/wot down the track. but wen foot braked it will push the tires a little bellow stall speed. most stals are like that but the construction of the th converters thats what happens.

SLP IROC-Z 09-22-2011 02:35 PM

youll be hard pressure to reach the rated stall speed of any big converter on a footbrake without over powering the brakes/tires. think about the torque multiplication.

Camaro9969 09-22-2011 04:06 PM

How did you like running it with the auto compared with the m6???

smokinss 09-22-2011 04:38 PM

Exactly what pizza said. I will post some of the viids later and you will see the car trying to push through the brakes. My only other issue is once I get the brake hooked up I think I will be out of gear. Last night I was real close to the limiter

ILuvPizzaTimes10 09-22-2011 04:45 PM

Time for some 28's or gears.

smokinss 09-22-2011 04:52 PM

It does have 28s.. 275/60/15 nitto now. Def going to need gears and a hoosier qtp again. Lol

ls6monte 09-22-2011 05:57 PM

Nice run bitch! lol

My84Z 09-22-2011 08:15 PM

Nitto's are not true 28" from what i read but i could be wrong

smokinss 09-22-2011 11:14 PM

Pretty damn close. I've got some other things to work out before switching tires. Just can't seemm to figure out why the car wouldnt 60 better. Hell my buddies bolt on ls1with a 3800 stall went 1.61 on nittos. I just think I need to practice more.

84ta406 09-22-2011 11:14 PM

Doesn't hoosier make a 29.5 tire?

My84Z 09-22-2011 11:17 PM

Even a true 28 inch bias ply won't fit without cutting the bumper and alittle modding

smokinss 09-22-2011 11:21 PM

Exactly and don't forget a bias ply will expand on the big end. I will go back to a 27x11.5 hoosier. It fits with no issues and will expand to a 28 on the big end.

My84Z 09-22-2011 11:22 PM

Yeah Justin I run the 27.5 qtp hoosier and they work without rubbing

smokinss 09-24-2011 10:49 PM

Well I found out the DA on that run was 3072 so the corrected run was 10.62@129

Slowhawk 09-26-2011 02:03 AM

Car might be getting KR at launch.

The tune should be changed alot for a T400 setup.

smokinss 09-26-2011 12:10 PM

Really?

Didn't know that.
