Spring cruise 2016
 

It's time to start planning for our Spring cruise. I want to get people's input on a date and a route. Last year we used Demonwithin's route starting at Sonny's Place in CT and then cruising up to the lookout tower at the Quabbin Reservoir, would you guys like to use that route again or go back to the traditional route circling the Quabbin? And as far as date, I'm thinking Saturday May 14th but I'm open to suggestions there too.

It's a tough choice for me. For the actual cruising part I really like the traditional route.

For the meet-up I really liked meeting at Sonny's. My kid wants to go to the cruise when me meet at Sonny's which is great. Plus, people sometimes meet-up an hour late and it's a long wait to be hanging out in a parking lot.

For me spring = Anxious to drive the Car....

So last year was a tough one - while Sonny's was cool I really wanted to drive vs. spending time there.

I think it would be better for spring to do an actual cruise and have another meet at Sonny's later in the summer.:Funny_Smiley:

Alex let's set the date for the 14th. I'm up for whenever and wherever.

But.....I'm sick of hanging out for an hour or more in a parking lot. We should leave within 30 minutes of the scheduled time or whoever is late, meet up with us somewhere.

Missing this one. Booked for the weekend with work.

I'd like to go with the 14th yeah. I'm open to changing it of that day doesn't work for a lot of people but otherwise this will be held on the 14th.

Sounds good to me. It'll give me enough time to hopefully get my car straightened out.

Your car is very original and seems perfect. What's wrong with it?

The beast has a low rpm skip, I changed the plugs last fall it seemed to help a little but I ran out of time weather wise. I got new plug wires to install, I have a multiple misfire on cylinder 2 according to the scanner. Since the weather is getting better I got to get time now to get under the car to replace the wires.

Hope the plug wires fix it!!!

Hey guys, regarding the date of the cruise, I talked to Joe (DemonWithin99) at dyno day and he said the 14th won't work for him, would anyone have an issue moving it back say one week? I know him and his brother really like to go.

Well I talked to Demon and unfortunately he's not going to be able to make the cruise this year. I'm still going with May 21st to give people time to get their cars ready. And we'll use May 22nd as a rain date since the next weekend is Memorial Day weekend. Hope to see you all there!
