*LS1* Queen 02-11-2010 04:30 AM

sad thing is it was "waxed" before he got his hands on it haha

c4boom 02-11-2010 04:36 AM

It would probably cost less to have the car sanded and resprayed LOL

*LS1* Queen 02-11-2010 04:38 AM

lol well if hes doin that type of high end cars i dont think those people have an issue dishing the cash out...im sure his prices vary on the work....that job i see as big $$ lol

Greenbird94ta 02-11-2010 04:44 AM

CamaroRacing12 02-11-2010 07:33 AM

let us know boomer i was gonna e-mailhim too. my car needs it bad

DemonWithin99 02-11-2010 03:47 PM

i have a few spots that might be beyond wet sanding, i think the whole car will get it if/when I decide on a new hood.

SLP IROC-Z 02-11-2010 06:06 PM

you cant judge that without seeing the vehicle in person.

c4boom 02-11-2010 06:28 PM

true but since kevo does not wet sand any more due to liability and I that this buy has a body shop I was hoping he may be able to get it close due to I have some spots that the clear is scratched through but not the base. (like the big ass spot on my hood scoop) If he emails me ill let you all know.

black heartbeat 02-11-2010 07:12 PM

he does good work but I agree with pizza, i'd like to see the car in person, changing the angle really can make a big difference. Tho to be fair, he does a have a lot of pics and the fact that he has pics of cars side by side in succession, while still no swirl pattern visible, says something. I mean the positioning and lighting of the cars in the last pic of the first page boomer linked would have to be near perfect to get that kind of image without any real hard skill.

KLAB 02-11-2010 09:22 PM

Thats amazing. I hope nobody is expecting me to be able to make their car look like that in 2 days when they come to me hahaha.

c4boom 02-12-2010 02:31 AM

for the price you charg kev there is no way some one can expect for you to put that type of work into it

*LS1* Queen 02-12-2010 02:35 AM

i have to say im highly impressed for that work to be done that well in 2 days! that takes serious skill and dedication lol

KLAB 02-12-2010 08:58 PM

Your car isn't shit Tony watch how sexy its gonna look buffed nice and shiny instead of looking like you drove thru a giant spider web, and the mb drifters on all polished up. yeaaaaaaaa!

smokinss 02-12-2010 09:11 PM

Looks pretty damn nice. I remember doing a black E55 AMG that was all F-ed up like that too. Damn thing took me 9hrs on the exterior and then another 5hrs on the inside. Came out mint though. Some people just dont realize to make a car like that look good, it can take a long time and is well worth the money. Hell ask some of the people on this site that have seen my car. If it gets driven in the rain then it gets a full wash and then re-machine polished and then waxed, no questions asked. To me its necessary when owning a black car.

Slowhawk 02-12-2010 09:51 PM

My wife could of washed that car better.

You can tell how good he is in a few washes of the car.I've seen a ton of detailers make the car look mint till there sealers come off and the shit is still there.

its true black sucks when its dirty and it take ALOT of work!... but it looks damn sexy when its clean! lol when i do my first buff job of the season my car gets waxed everytime its washed and then quick detailed to keep it lookin good. I have it twice as bad cause i have black wheels too lol...which also have to get waxed way to often haha

hahaha

Don your are right on that one man. Ive seen it too with certain sealers that wear off after 2 or 3 washes. But unfortunatly thats 90 percent of the shit thats out there. They are silicone based and just hide shit very well and someone that doesnt know how to wheel a car properly will just be hiding the swirls. One of my sealants is polymere based and does last a little bit longer, but also people need to realize washing a car with Dawn isnt the best thing eaither. LOL. You really need to find a good wash that wont harm the finish and use a good soft mit and I just started using those big microfiber blankets to dry the car instead of the chamois. Its amazing how many little things will cause the slightest little scratches in the paints surface that most people dont even realize are there till they have a mess on there hands.

Z28 Autobot 02-13-2010 09:44 PM

saw a lot of yuppieracing gys at the carsncoffee show last fall. They all had euro higher end cars some had R8's..

*LS1* Queen 02-13-2010 10:24 PM
