The solutioin to Toyota's problems!

RIGHT THE FK ON! I've been screaming this from day one and I think a LOT of this is copy-cat because it CANNOT be proved or DISPROVED that the throttle actually got stuck in the first place!! What a fkn crock!! I am BEYOND tired of hearing about this crap!

Spectacular!!!!

BrokenFeather78 03-14-2010 02:55 PM

The major problem is drivers void of common sense. Hopefully their stupidity only brings harm to themselves.

*LS1* Queen 03-14-2010 07:32 PM

unfortunately it usually brings harm to other people...its like drunk driving accidents usually the drunk driver lives

I can remember who it was but I want to say it was a microsoft or apple guy..he could simulate the glitch and in doing so it would lock out putting the car in "N"
Thats what people are forgetting..the glitch basically takes you for a ride. The car will not shut off and you can not put it in N.

Since there is no connection to any of this its all computer controled and it makes this problem worse..gotta remember one of the guys who died was a state trooper..I would hope he would know how to stop a car.

Navy01z 03-15-2010 06:07 AM

Thats the same shit I heard. What I read was when the car fucks up and goes WOT you cant do anything with it. It just freaks out. The only thing no one made mention of was if you slam on the brakes if it at least tries to slow it down. And it ony happens with the automatics from what I understand. Who knows. I say as long as Toyota wants to keep saying its the fuckin floormats they shouldnt be allowed to sell another one of these deathtraps.

Z28 Autobot 03-15-2010 03:32 PM

exaclty. It the glitch is locking them out of doing anything but sit for a ride. This guys as asshole for posting the vid..and kinda funny that hes gotta wear a mask since he just might be wrong..maybe its a good thing..just going back to the thing with a state trooper not knowing how to slow a car down?? Kinda leads me to beleive that something happened that he could not turn off..a normal working computer is going to do what it does. But if it messes up then what? Can not turn the car off, cant stop it and can not put the car in any other gears.
I am all for electric cars..but leave all the saftey stuff to tried and true mechanical devices not electronic ones.

Yup, throttle cables FTW

Navy01z 03-16-2010 02:28 AM

Yamaha has the same recall on their 2009 R6 and R1s. Throttle-By-Wire. Something in the housing where the cpu chip is can loose its seal letting water in and uh-oh wot on a streetbike. FUCKIN SCARY!!!

whitdog54 03-16-2010 02:54 AM

does this dumb mother fucker realize that the power button doesnt work, and the cars wont go into neutral because of computer problems. This guys dumber then he talks. Your car is working, thats why he can do what hes doing. Its just a 1 in 1000 thing thats happening to people that they can not simulate. I hope this guys on the news cuz he crashed his car into tree cause he was out of control....oh wait....you wont be able to tell cause hes to much of a twat to show his face.

Well Yamaha caught it, recalled all sold bikes fixed it and replaced everyone that had the issue with a new bike.
They didnt blame it on floormats or mother nature or something. lol

thats good, atleast they solved the problem

I agree, if toyotas not going to solve this problem and also give the goverment a hard time with turning over data recording devices from the car, then they should just be banned from selling cars.

Im not sure why anyone would buy a toyota after this....but I guess we'll let Darwinism take care of those people.

Bayer-Z28 03-16-2010 01:43 PM

Well, the guy in California is under investigation.
