Ron- Blows tranny on Dyno!!! J/k 340 rwhp 340 rwtq |
Ron what is different? I will say the same number unless you havn't dyno'd at the new shop yet and then I will say 15 less then before.
|
dont forget ron had his TB ported and picked up 2 mph and 2 tenths.... MAYBE the good air... so ill say he picked up one tenthish on a TB port....
Ron makes 351rwhp 336rwtq |
Demon = 325hp 333tq
|
No idea as far as anyone else.. Not too too familiar with the cars. But, Bolt on LS1's prollly about 335/345, Bolt on LT1,s about the same.. H/C cars around 400-440rwhp, 370-400 rwtq.
but as far as mine:: Lower altitude MAY net me some more power, but I need a re-tune from the big drop in altitude and I've heard his dyno is tough to churn out higher #'s, so I'll guess the same as I have now.. = 414/372 I need nitrous. Just think those are embarrassing #'s. |
^EMBARRASSING #'S!?!?!?!?! lol i just barely beat a v6 last time and you got well over double what i have gohd hahahahaha
|
^ I just expected maybe 440/390 out of my cam.. But my current #'s are actually with in reasonable tolerance of what the designer made with it running a ported FAST 90, SD Tune and AFR 225 Heads and prolly a killer exhaust. I just want to be around 480/450 rw.. a little spray should push me to 500rw.. :)
And I put down 336/346 on just bolt ons.... Soooo I get a custom grind TQer cam with some decent heads and it only nets me 26ft lbs?? Somethings off. |
i wouldnt say somethings off. i bet that cam didnt bring the "number" you wanted But it brought the torque curve out enough you made what almost 80rwhp. i wouldnt bitch about that at all.
|
Yeah, that's the thing that impressed me. This cam puts down better #'s than the TRaK cam. Slightly better, but still better. And it's a smaller cam and has great street manners. :) From what I thought I knew about TQ production, I am still researching the intake side of this equation.
I've been told it needs a little more fuel in the lower R's. I'm just itchin to get it tuned again soon. |
People get way too caught up in the numbers, rather than whether the car is fun to drive. You can't drive a dyno sheet. :)
