been running my 9" in the car for almost a week now and love the 4.10s, but i have to say detroit lockers suck! mine has a "race" locker and not a soft locker, it sounds very similiar to a rollercoaster being pulled to the top of the ride. i will be pulling it out and putting a posi in it. hopefully ill get back to the track soon when i can get a driveshaft that i feel safe running on.

dude go get a u joint and run mine I told you try and brake it I need it a bit shorter LOL

i say pull out the locker and get the soft/street locker rebuild parts. Same case just has 3 extra pieces of metal. around corners i cant hear mine click or clack. only every once in a while i hear it snap around. but its rare and i dont care much. But the roller coaster noises FUCK THAT!

Yeah mine is quiet too. Every once in awhile it will make noise but very rarely.

Its obnoxious!!!!
