Few questions
1st is this the factory y-pipe? Here are a few pics. Sorry they aren't that great. I noticed that the driver side y hangs lower than the passenger side pipe.

Nope that looks like the slp y pipe. My wiifes z28 has the same y pipe. And the dent iam not too sure about.
ya thats def not the stocker...now if u squished it and made it flat it would look like the stock y lol...as for the dent looks like someone ran over something with it
That dent it pretty nasty I.wonder if that threw off the alignment of the passenger side manifold... I have a tick from 1200 rpm to 1900 then it mysteriously disappears. Anyways longtubes won't hook up to that y correct? Thanks
Forgot to.ask, basically no power gains from a stock.y to slp y right?
Slp y
no stock or aftermarket y pipe made for stock manifolds will bolt up to long tubes. it will have to be either customized at and exhaust/specialty(Slowhawk?) or buy the correct y pipe for the long tubes.
i got a dent like that in my exhaust....except mine is like three times the size lol...previous owner had a minor run in with a muffler on the high way haha
