OMG I FINALLY bought a catback!!
So after YEARS of looking and posting here, I FINALLY bought a catback.
I bought it used from a guy on Tech. It's a Magnaflow with a 3" cutout along with a QTP E-Cutout, already installed. So now I'll have the best of both worlds. Nice and quiet on the highway, but I can still scare the snot out of pedestrians here in Newport when I feel like it. Since I'm fairly retarded when it comes toanything electrical, anyone got any tips or know of a writeup as to how I should wire up the cutout? Also, the QTP swith is pretty ugly. I noticed tonight that Autozone, has some smaller, much cleaner looking toggles, Is it possible to change the switch? Thanks! |
Congrats.. now I need one.
Wiring it in should be a cinch.. look on summits site. They list a lot of pdf's for things on the parts page |
id keep the switch that came with it. just hide it. like josh sed goto the manufacturers web site or summit and look up the PDFs. Congrats on the exhaust!

I just never have money to mod...all my money goes to stupid stuff like rent, gas, and food. I might go all out after Christmas though...I really want LT's and a stall. We'll see if I get a Christmas bonus this year. Thanks for the link Josh. I never even thought to check thier website, I was doing searches on other boards for writeups. Hopefully the sun is shining tomorrow so I can get this stuff in. |
nice!!! thinking of running a cutout when I swap my headers out for Stainless.

Def keep the toggle that comes with it. Mine is hidden in the little pocket in front of the shifter.

congrats
