5th Annual Northeast Rod Run (October)

We're going a bit bigger and longer than normal this year. This will be our first year kicking things off outside of New England (Lake George, NY) and also our first year driving through PA. We will also be driving on the track at Watkins Glen this year

As always it is happening at the beginning of October and lots of us will be leaving the New England area (probably from Mt Wachusett) the morning of October 2nd

Here is just a little bit of video from last year's trip, to give you all a little feel of what it's all about. Hope you all enjoy

Love to see a few of you guys join us this year, even if it's just for one or two nights

As always, full updates are available of the NERR site

Just trying to give everyone fair warning here.

I am attending the Good Guys show in Springfield, MA this weekend and then going to the GM National in Carlisle, PA next weekend and after I get back from those two events, I'll be getting everything together to send payment into Watkins Glen for our track time

With that being said, if you plan on joining us on the track and haven't contacted me yet, I suggest you do so ASAP so you don't miss out. Since I am going to be busy and not going to be on here much, I suggest you contact me by email because if not, you have a good chance at missing out because it's so close to the deadline

Can't wait to see everyone in about 3 1/2 months. It's going to be here before you know it

what is the cost for the track?

Sorry I missed this thread, but it's hard for me to keep NERR's site updated and various forums too. I just try to use forums like this for quick updates and let people go to NERR's site for complete details

Anyway, the track is $15. All the details are up on NERR's site

As of today, there are only 3 weeks left to book some of this year's Rod Run hotels at a discounted rate. After that, some of them go up almost $50/night, if they still have rooms available

Anyone that delays any longer, could cost themselves a couple of hundred dollars extra

Also, if any people did want to go but missed the cutoff date, as long as I receive payment by September 7th, we can actually get more spots on the track

4 weeks from today we will be leaving Lake George, NY and be on our way to Alexandria Bay and the Canadian border. Until then, here is a clip from 2010's trip
