License plate on airdam?
Does anyone do this? Is it legal? Do cops give you shit?
I hate having a noticeable front plate and I was wondering if anyone puts their plate on their airdam? |
I have a sliding front plate that hides underneath the car and when i go for a inspection or I'm driving late at night after a few beers ill slide it forward and pop it up so I dont get pulled over.

did you make that set up or buy it?
I took 2 90* L brackets and stick it on the bottom of my bumper with double sided 3M foam tape when its time for a sticker. I haven't had it on the road in a couple years tho so I'm wondering if I'll still be able to get away w/ driving around w/ no front plate in my neck of the woods.. allot of rookie LEO's hired last few years. figured if I had to I'd put the plate on the air dam too but I like the sound of this folding set up1 |

I have the same thing Nation has, it's called a Show n Go and you can get them for like $50. I hardly ever flip the plate out but if I'm driving on the Mass Pike for a while I'll use it, or obviously for inspections.

I gotta get one of those

no its not legal...it has to be on the stock placement of where the license plate bracket is on the grille... no air dam or windshield like some people do. It wont pass inspection and u will get a ticket regardless if the cops an ass so u might as well just not run one at all lol. Its 35 bucks if u get a ticket for it.. I just ziptie mine on when sticker time comes around if i have to. lol
