Poncho's

Best advice I was ever told about Poncho motors is " They take twice as much money to make the same power as a chevy" Take it like a grain of salt but look at some prices..

Chevvey's are revvers, Poncho's are torquemonsters.
2 totally different platforms.

It's true to modern standards.

Just imagine if Pontiac kept kept making S.D.s until their demise.
They would've been monsters!!!!

Not quite the same but that's basically what i'm doing to my 68 lol.

And I was always a die hard Pontiac guy. I give up and want to go fast cheap lol.

You ever look at a pontiac block? it is alot better built then a chevy block also, you can make STUPID power on a pontiac engine and have it go boom

Stupid power eh? Ask bottle bird about that lol. I got to watch his go boom

It was even cooler after I pulled the intake and cam and got a good look down in the valley. Nice twisted mess of forged eagle rods and two huge holes in the oil pan. They actually bumped the pan out so far I couldn't fit the starter out between the pan and headers anymore lol.

Yeah well Nitrous is a different beast

That was a N/A motor nick. He blew it up on the burnout pad at the summer nationals.

Yep, never got around to spraying that motor. Blew that one up even after building it right and caring for it properly.

I think I'm back to wailing on junkyard bottom ends. A cam, some boost, and they seem to make almost as much power and live forever lol.
