Default More bad luck......

Well I have my first complaint against Centric brakes. I changed the pads/rotors on the Tahoe about 20,000 miles ago, fronts are cherry, look almost new and the rears were completely shot so I ordered some new ones. Now there is only one rear rotor for a chevy Tahoe which makes choices simple. I get the first side off and the caliper is completely trashed, both pistons are damaged from overextension and leaking brake fluid. WTF right? So I take the other side off and it is the exact same thing. took me about a half hour to figure it out but apparently the last generation of centric rotors were not thick enough and it became obvious when I compared them. 2 pairs of rotors, same part #'s but the :vented" area on the old ones was about a 1/4 an inch on the old ones and more then 3/4 on the new ones. I'll take pics tomorrow but basically it destroyed my rear brakes. Not happy, will be calling centric tomorrow. Damn lucky he calipers didn't fail completely.
