just cause the da is better doesn't mean better air or means that the car needs or adjusted enough to the difference. moisture and other factors in the air can also make a difference that might not show in a da calculation. Or it could be less slip on shifts maybe you spun into different gears and didn't know it. maybe you shifted alittle slower this time. Maybe the clutch isn't holding as well.
