Default New Header!!!

Well.... Not for the Z

I need to replace the Exhaust on the Scooby Mobile, since the Cat & Mid-pipe are falling off due to rust ATM.... But I was able to convince the Wife that it's cheaper to simply put a Header on, and have an exhaust custom built than to replace the parts that are rusted...

OK OK OK.. not really but for an extra $450 it is close enough that it's worth it...

So on goes a header and complete Stainless Exhaust Much better for ensuring all that spray salt crap won't rust out another exhaust...

Now the real question: How much more power... BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I'm guessing ~5 AWHP.... But hey it will be shiny right

http://www.grimmspeed.com/

These guys do some sick work on stock Subaru parts, not that it helps you know. But their ported manifold/crosspipe makes more power then most headers.

What header did you get? Hopefully not Borla

Nope not Borla... SpeedyRacer Knock off, which is highly recommended (and cheap). Hopefully it's not a piece of crap, but considering it was only $130...

Oh I know about GrimSpeed... That's my choice for the 2005 Turbo when I get to replacing the exhaust on that, but I'm doing this on the 98 N/A... I don't think they stock N/A manifolds as cores and I can't let the car sit that long to take it off, send it in, get it back, and then have the exhaust built....
